Integrated Artificial Neural Network Technology
ZipLS integrates an Artificial Neural Network that acts as the student's private tutor. As a student answers questions the system gathers statistical data which is processed by the neural network. For each question the "tutor" is able to predict whether the student is likely to answer correctly.
Every lesson contains a last level named "Practice" in which problem sets are selected by the tutor. Questions which the student is likely to miss will be selected more frequently. As a result the student spends more time being drilled in problem areas and less time answering questions that have already been mastered.
Information from the tutor is used to generate reports, such as the student progress report illustrated in the image on the right. These reports illustrate the student's level of knowledge, strengths and weaknesses. See reports for more details on ZipLS reporting.
