English Vocabulary
ZipLS Vocabulary is designed to help students learn new words and improve vocabulary. The software comes with word lists for grades 6th through 8th and a high-school list designed to boost vocabulary in preparation for the SAT exam. An editor with integrated dictionary that allows custom word lists to be created and modified is included.
Vocabulary word lists are divided into levels of 10 words each, allowing for a gradual improvement. After completing all levels students reach a practice level where they are drilled on difficult words. See Artificial Neural Network for details about how the words are selected.
